I can’t thank you enough for the great job you and your guys did on the installation of our putting green. I’m still feeling like a kid on Christmas morning. I invited a good friend over to see it and play. He said it was “100 times better than anything he could have ever imagined” – that’s how I feel as well. The contouring of the green allows me to practice every type of putt, and it’s fun to pitch to the green from around the yard.
We had about an inch of rain yesterday, and it drained in about 2 minutes – great job.

Last summer, I purchased an STI putting green & had it installed in July. I have spent about an hour every day putting on it since then. About a week ago, I shot the unofficial golf course record in our town by shooting a 26 (par 35) in which I birdied every hole! I had only 8 putts on the nine holes! My experience with Bobby Baughn and STI of Atlanta was absolutely amazing. I have been researching and planning to put in an artificial green on my property for four years and my expectations and anticipation was extremely high. You did an excellent job laying out the course and your attention to detail during the construction of the project was outstanding. The course has been a real success, especially with our friends who have attended our putting and chipping 'tournaments'.
The 17 yard chip shots from the tee boxes provide a challenge and have helped us hone our short game skills. The two tee boxes along with the six putting green holes provide us with twelve different approach shots. We can also play an eighteen hole par three game by alternating tee boxes and putting green holes.
I would also like to compliment you on your willingness and commitment to stand behind your product and workmanship. We have only had a few minor concerns and they were taken care of in a very professional manner.

Bobby, I just thought I'd drop you a line to tell you that I really appreciate the way you responded to my recent request to look at and correct the slight erosion that was occurring under my putting green. I know that you guaranteed your work but not everyone always lives up to their commitments in such as professional manner. Someone else might have said "What do you expect with torrential rains?" and tried to side step coming back. The green looks great (has from day one! ) and has been a real source of enjoyment for not only me but for our friends as well. It's helped me work on my short game ( I love the chipping area at one end of the green ) and we've used it as a source of entertainment at several of our deck parties over the past year. I usually tell some of the husbands to bring their putter and chipping club with them to our party and sure enough we end up gathering around the green for some light-hearted short game competition. The spotlight and the benches round the green have enhanced our ability to do that even after dark. All-in-all our putting green has been a great investment for me and I really appreciate the professional way in which you provided the initial installation as well as the recent followup. I even had my 1st hole-in-one a month ago, but since it was a 130 yard shot I guess I can't really attribute that to my practice on my B.B.Golf putting green --at least I don't think so!!! Although the weather hasn't allowed a lot of time to get out and use my new green its continued to look great. I love the way the green compliments the rest of the landscaping in the backyard.
During the holidays Lisa and I had a number of people visit us and we got a chance to get out and putt. Everyone loved the roll of the green and the subtle breaks that you built in. Although I was skeptical at first, the chipping mat is a great hit. I've had several neighbors ask if they could come over and work on their short game. What a great alternative to putting a pool in our backyard. Not only do I get to work on my short game but its a great conversation piece when our friends visit. Not to mention that it's a lot cheaper!
