EZTee® is a big success
Range tees can really take a lot of abuse which makes it no fun to practice on thin grass or even bare dirt. And the average mat available on the market today is firm, unforgiving, and can be painful for wrists or elbows when hitting iron shots. And how about those rubber tees on some mats? Do you really use one of those when you play? I don't think so.
The new 2010 version of STI's EZTee® is a broadloom tufted nylon/polyproplyene blended turf which is soft for iron shots while allowing the golfer to use a normal wooden tee when hitting the oversized drivers of today. The turf is manufactured in 12' widths so it can easily be installed over any firm sub surface in 12' or 6' strips or cut into 6' x 6' mats. No infill is required so once the turf is laid, golfers are ready to practice in comfort.
Introduced in 2009, STI also offers a second choice in EZTee®. Our 100% polypropylene fiber turf gives the same benefits of the nylon/poly blended variety but with a slightly firmer feel under the foot. It also allows for the use of a normal wooden tee that is held secure by the very densely woven turf fibers. The EZTee® Poly is manufactured in 12' and 15' widths making for tee line widths of 5', 6', or 7.5', as well as mats in either 5' x 5' or 6' x 6'.
